Ftp: preserve file formats

In ftp, there are two modes for uploading files to the web server. One is ascii mode and the other is binary mode. The ascii mode is preferable for text files and the binary mode is used for uploading images and binary files.

To preserve the file formats (unix and windows text file formats), it is necessary to upload text files in ascii mode. Otherwise, we may need to manually convert the formats.
